Why choose the genuine Brother TN-321BK toner
The TN-321BK is the standard version of the black cartridge in the TN-321 range. Genuine Brother toner powder, matched to the DR-321CL drum and the fuser of these printers: sharp text, even solids, no leaks and no "toner not recognized" message. Toner powder does not dry out, so a printer used intermittently keeps the same print quality.
Standard or XL: TN-321BK or TN-326BK?
These references fit the same printers and differ only in the amount of toner: the TN-321BK (2,500 pages) and the TN-326BK (4,000 pages, about 33% less per page). The TN-321BK suits occasional use; above 100 pages per month, a higher capacity costs less per page and is replaced less often.

Installation and maintenance
Tool-free replacement: open the front cover, pull out the drum + toner assembly, unclip the old toner, insert the TN-321BK and put the assembly back. The DR-321CL drum is a separate part rated for about 25,000 pages; the printer signals when it needs replacing. On these color models, the BU-320CL belt unit and the WT-320CL waste toner box are also separate parts (about 50,000 pages). Used Brother toners can be returned free of charge through the Brother recycling program.
Use and tips
The TN-321BK suits regular office use: the cartridge (2,500 pages) lasts about 8 months at 300 pages per month and about 2 months at 1,000 pages per month. Beyond that, the TN-326BK (4,000 pages) costs less per page.
Store the cartridge in its original packaging, flat, away from direct light and humidity (0 to 35 °C), and unpack it only when installing. At the "Toner low" alert, plan the order: the printer keeps printing until "Replace toner" (the "Continue" menu setting extends printing further). The driver's toner save mode suits drafts; genuine cartridges preserve the printer's Brother warranty.
