Why choose the genuine Brother TN-135BK toner
The TN-135BK is the XL version of the black cartridge in the TN-135 range. Genuine Brother toner powder, matched to the drum and the fuser of these printers: sharp text, even solids, no leaks and no "toner not recognized" message. Standard or XL: TN-130BK or TN-135BK?
These references fit the same printers and differ only in the amount of toner: the TN-130BK (2,500 pages) and the TN-135BK (5,000 pages, about 31% less per page). The TN-130BK suits occasional use; above 100 pages per month, a higher capacity costs less per page and is replaced less often.

Use and tips
The TN-135BK suits intensive or shared use: the cartridge (5,000 pages) lasts about a year at 300 pages per month and about 5 months at 1,000 pages per month.
Store the cartridge in its original packaging, flat, away from direct light and humidity (0 to 35 °C), and unpack it only when installing. At the "Toner low" alert, plan the order: the printer keeps printing until "Replace toner" (the "Continue" menu setting extends printing further). The driver's toner save mode suits drafts; genuine cartridges preserve the printer's Brother warranty.
