The Riello iPlug 600 is a compact line-interactive UPS designed to protect the computing equipment of a point of sale. With 600 VA, that is 360 W, it powers a point of sale terminal, a panel PC or a self-ordering kiosk long enough to finish a transaction and shut the system down cleanly during a power cut. Its line-interactive technology also corrects mains voltage dips and surges without switching to battery, which preserves the terminal's power supply and extends battery life. The three French-standard outlets connect the terminal and its most sensitive peripherals, and the USB port gives the operating system access to the UPS status to trigger an automatic shutdown.
