Description
An omnidirectional reading solution from the SAGA range, this vertical scanner sits on the counter and captures codes through up to 360°, with no need to orient the item. Its imager technology reads simple 1D codes such as EAN 13 or ISBN as well as more complex 2D codes such as DATAMATRIX, PDF and QR codes, on paper as well as on smartphone or tablet screens. It is mainly aimed at supermarkets in presentation mode, for moderately bulky items: the operator presents the product in front of the reading window and keeps both hands free, which smooths the flow at checkout. Setup is plug and play, with French keyboard settings and automatic reading by default. The scanner is delivered with its USB connection cable and its simplified programming manual.
