Why choose the genuine Kyocera TK-420 toner cartridge
The TK420 is a genuine Kyocera toner. The powder is matched to the fuser and speed of these printers: sharp text, even solids, proper fusing from the first page, and a cartridge recognized immediately (levels shown, no error message).
When to replace it
The printer shows a message when the part's counter reaches end of life (Supplies status or Reports menu). Replacing it then avoids downtime and wear on other parts.

Installation
Tool-free replacement: open the cover, remove the used cartridge, take the new one out of its bag, rock it gently to distribute the toner, remove the protections, then insert until it clicks. The printer recognizes the cartridge. The used cartridge is recycled through the manufacturer's take-back program or your local collection.
Use and tips
The TK420 suits intensive or shared use: the cartridge (15,000 pages) lasts over 4 years at 300 pages per month and about a year at 1,000 pages per month.
Store the cartridge in its packaging, flat, away from light and humidity, and unpack it only when installing. At the "Low" alert, order: the printer keeps printing until the replace message. Genuine cartridges preserve the printer's warranty.
