Usage
The DS-870 is built for mailroom, accounting and archive teams that digitize stacks of documents every day: up to 7,000 pages per day, in 100-sheet batches, from invoices and delivery notes to plastic cards.
Day to day: single-pass duplex scanning into your document management system via TWAIN or ISIS, push-scan jobs from the display (to email, network folder or FTP), long documents and receipts handled with the adjustable guides.
Good to know: the DS-870 connects to one workstation over USB 3.2; for direct network sharing an Ethernet dock is available as an option, and the DS-970 in the same series reaches 85 pages per minute.

Does the DS-870 scan duplex?
Yes, in a single pass: both sides are captured simultaneously, at 65 pages per minute or 130 images per minute, in black and in color.
Does it work with document management software?
Yes: TWAIN, ISIS, SANE and WIA drivers are included, along with Document Capture Pro 2.0 for job profiles (barcode separation, automatic naming, indexed PDF export).
