The 1156C005 collects the ink used during automatic print head cleanings. The printer tracks its fill level and warns ahead of time; a full cartridge stops printing until it is replaced.
When to replace it
The printer shows a message when the part's counter reaches end of life (Supplies status or Reports menu). Replacing it then avoids downtime and wear on other parts.
