Why choose the genuine Ricoh IM C300 toner cartridge
The 842603 is a genuine Ricoh toner. The powder is matched to the fuser and speed of these printers: sharp text, even solids, proper fusing from the first page, and a cartridge recognized immediately (levels shown, no error message). Colors stay consistent from one cartridge to the next.

The 842603 comes in the following colors, ordered separately as each one wears out: 842601 (black), 842602 (cyan), 842604 (yellow). On a color printer each color runs out at its own pace; replace only the empty one.

Installation
Tool-free replacement: open the cover, remove the used cartridge, take the new one out of its bag, rock it gently to distribute the toner, remove the protections, then insert until it clicks. The printer recognizes the cartridge. The used cartridge is recycled through the manufacturer's take-back program or your local collection.
Use and tips
The 842603 suits intensive or shared use: the cartridge (6,000 pages) lasts about a year and a half at 300 pages per month and about 6 months at 1,000 pages per month.
Store the cartridge in its packaging, flat, away from light and humidity, and unpack it only when installing. At the "Low" alert, order: the printer keeps printing until the replace message. Genuine cartridges preserve the printer's warranty.
