Why choose the genuine HP 659X toner cartridge
The W2010X is the high yield black cartridge of the HP 659 series. All-in-one cartridge: toner, imaging drum and developer are replaced together, so print quality is like new at every change, with no separate drum to replace. Genuine HP toner with JetIntelligence: smart level tracking, anti-fraud technology and maximized yield.
659X or 659A: which capacity?
The W2010X is the high yield version (34,000 pages) of the W2010A (16,000 pages): same cartridge, same printers, more toner. Above about a hundred pages a month it is the most economical choice per page.

Page yield
34,000 pages per ISO/IEC 19752 (5% coverage, letter-type documents). Graphics or photo-heavy pages reduce the actual yield. The cost per page shown next to the price is calculated from the current price and this yield.
Installation and maintenance
Tool-free replacement: open the cover, remove the used cartridge, take the new one out of its bag, rock it gently to distribute the toner, pull the protective tab if present, then insert until it clicks. The printer recognizes the cartridge and resets the counter. Used HP cartridges are returned free of charge through HP Planet Partners.
Use and tips
The W2010X suits intensive or shared use: the cartridge (34,000 pages) lasts over 9 years at 300 pages per month and over 2 years at 1,000 pages per month.
Store the cartridge in its packaging, flat, away from light and humidity, and unpack it only when installing. At the "Low" alert, order: the printer keeps printing until "Very low" then "Replace". The driver's EconoMode extends life for drafts. Genuine cartridges preserve the printer's HP warranty.
